Shareholders vote in favour, electing all IGM Financial director nominees with robust support
IGM Financial Inc. has conducted its Annual Meeting of Shareholders, successfully electing all director nominees as listed in the management proxy circular from February 23.
The election occurred through a majority of the votes either cast by ballot or represented by proxy at the meeting.
The detailed voting results for each nominee are as follows:
- Marc A. Bibeau received 203,577,796 votes in favour, accounting for 99.61 percent of votes, and 802,071 votes against, which is 0.39 percent.
- Marcel R. Coutu was supported by 204,038,254 votes, representing 99.83 percent, against 341,613 votes or 0.17 percent.
- André Desmarais had 196,149,812 votes for (95.97 percent) and 8,230,054 votes against (4.03 percent).
- Paul Desmarais, Jr. secured 194,164,249 votes in favour, or 95.00 percent, with 10,215,617 votes (5.00 percent) opposing.
- Gary Doer received 200,218,967 supportive votes (97.96 percent) and faced 4,160,899 votes against (2.04 percent).
- Susan Doniz garnered 186,156,503 votes for her, 91.08 percent, and 18,223,364 votes against, making up 8.92 percent.
- Claude Généreux was backed by 198,230,145 votes (96.99 percent) with 6,149,721 votes against (3.01 percent).
- Sharon Hodgson had overwhelming support with 204,220,725 votes in favour (99.92 percent) and only 159,142 votes against (0.08 percent).
- Jake Lawrence received 203,276,831 votes for (99.46 percent) and 1,103,036 votes against (0.54 percent).
- Sharon MacLeod saw 204,172,702 votes supporting her (99.90 percent) and 207,165 against (0.10 percent).
- Susan J. McArthur had 200,268,584 votes in favour (97.99 percent) and 4,111,282 votes against (2.01 percent).
- John McCallum was elected with 197,594,142 votes for (96.68 percent) and 6,785,725 votes against (3.32 percent).
- R. Jeffrey Orr received 187,863,097 votes in favour (91.92 percent) with 16,505,448 votes against (8.08 percent).
- James O'Sullivan was nearly unanimously supported with 204,139,989 votes in favour (99.88 percent) and 239,878 against (0.12 percent).
- Beth Wilson received 204,222,170 votes for her (99.92 percent) and 157,697 against (0.08 percent).
