Firms announce additions to their headcount in Canada
J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Sapling Financial Consultants are among the financial services firms adding to their Canadian headcount this week.
Kait Jack joins J.P. Morgan Asset Management as vice president, external client advisor for the firm in Canada, with a brief to engage with financial advisors across the country to bring them the firm’s capabilities and solutions.
Jack joins the firm from Pimco where she most recently held roles covering sub-advised clients, dealer head office relationships, and institutional business development. She was previously part of the wealth distribution team at Sun Life Global Investments.

Meanwhile, at Toronto based Sapling Financial Consultants, Maria Cherkasova joins as senior engagement manager, having been a senior management consultant with over 16 years of experience, including leading teams at PwC in financial modelling and data analytics and at KPMG in management consulting.
The firm is targeting a 55% annual expansion over the next three years and has announced several other new hires:
