Stuart Feld takes on a new role at Raymond James, focusing on AI-driven enhancements across the firm

Raymond James has promoted Stuart Feld to chief artificial intelligence officer.
Feld joined Raymond James in 2018 and was most recently the senior vice president, head of Front Office Technology.
His experience includes over three decades in technology leadership at JPMorgan, UBS, and Prudential Financial, where he worked in wealth management, audit, and corporate technology.
According to CEO Paul Shoukry, said, “[Feld] is well-equipped to provide the vision and leadership to build on our growing success in this space.”
Vin Campagnoli, executive vice president of Technology and Operations, stated that under Feld’s leadership, the firm has applied AI solutions to help advisors serve clients and grow their practices.
Campagnoli added that he is confident in expanding this foundation to increase capacity and efficiency.
Feld explained that Raymond James aims to augment, not replace, human interaction by reducing administrative workload.
“As with all technology at Raymond James, we design tools in collaboration with our Technology Advisory Council, comprised of experienced financial advisors, to ensure that each has a practical, real-world application to the business,” Feld said.
In this newly created role, Feld will serve as the firm's principal AI architect, focusing on enterprise-wide innovation.
Shoukry said Feld will explore and apply emerging technologies to enhance services for advisors and clients, as well as broader business operations.
He stated that Raymond James invests in AI to improve business efficiencies, enhance service levels, and support client advice with data-driven insights. The firm has integrated AI into cybersecurity, electronic communications review, and operational monitoring.
Advisors use analytics in the Opportunities application for client touchpoints, while Advisor Access employs machine learning for recommendations. Raymond James is also piloting a generative AI-powered intranet to provide relevant information and resources.
