The firm has bolstered its executive committee with new EVPs

Three new executive vice-presidents are taking their seats on the executive committee of Wellington-Altus as the firm prepares for growth.
The strategic appointments of executive vice-presidents aim include one internal appointment and two hires, all with the aim of maintaining the best experience for clients and advisors as the firm nears its 10th anniversary in 2027 and seeks a minority partner on the secondary market to further fuel expansion.
Overseeing the firm’s advisor network as EVP, National Manager, is Todd Ferguson who joined the firm three years ago having held leadership roles at Manulife Securities, ScotiaMcLeod, and TD Waterhouse during his 25 years in the industry.

Michael Boydell steps into the role of EVP, Growth and Performance Strategies, with a brief to enhance advisor engagement, optimize business growth strategies, and position the firm for long-term success.
Last year, Wellington-Altus surpassed $30 billion in assets under administration and has continued to see exponential growth.
Boydell is the founder of Boydell Global, and has held senior leadership roles at EY, Yahoo! Inc., Sangoma Technologies and QVC Group, with more than 30 years’ experience in corporate strategy, business growth and executive coaching.
And Blaine Arnold will join as EVP, Corporate Development, to lead the firm’s advisor recruitment strategy and grow its national footprint. He previously served as president & CEO of Sandler by Pinnacle and held senior leadership roles at Scotia Wealth Management.
