Manulife Wealth adds Conquest's financial planning platform for advisors

Manulife Wealth has introduced Conquest Planning Inc.’s platform, a technology that provides financial planning through personalized advice.

This collaboration gives more than 1,000 Manulife Wealth advisors access to Conquest’s strategic advice manager (SAM) and financial planning tools, allowing them to assist clients across Canada.

Mark Evans, CEO at Conquest, stated, “We’ve designed Conquest to help users suggest potential financial decisions across all planning areas, and for clients in all stages of life.”

By using this platform, Manulife Wealth enables advisors to stress test financial plans and explore strategies that address client concerns, aiming to improve both client and advisor interactions.

Conquest’s SAM, powered by artificial intelligence (AI), allows Manulife Wealth advisors to adjust workflows and provide services aligned with clients’ goals. Plans created with SAM can be adapted to clients' changing circumstances, objectives, and risk tolerances.

Richard McIntyre, president, and CEO of Manulife Wealth, said, “Conquest’s SAM brings additional focus on personalization and a client-centred delivery to our advisor technology, helping Manulife Wealth meet the evolving needs and expectations of our valued advisors and clients.”

This development is one of several aimed at equipping advisors with tools to assist clients during the financial planning process.

Advisors at Manulife Wealth provide guidance in goal setting, net worth and cash flow planning, investment management, retirement planning, tax planning, insurance, estate planning, philanthropy, and more.

Conquest’s SAM also shows the impact of financial decisions, supporting collaboration between advisors and clients and demonstrating the role of professional advice.
