The Canadian wealth industry gathered in Toronto for a night of celebration at the Wealth Professional Awards, recognizing outstanding achievements in the financial sector.

The glamorous event brought together financial advisors, brokerages, fund managers, BDMs, and service providers for a memorable evening.

The ceremony, hosted in true gala style, featured a cocktail reception, dinner banquet, awards presentation, and a post-awards celebration. Attendees enjoyed a night of networking and recognition, celebrating the industry's top performers. Arisa Cox, known for hosting Big Brother Canada, emceed the event.

The night’s biggest story was the double success of Maili Wong, who flew in from Vancouver to collect the Avenue Living Award for Portfolio/Discretionary Manager of the Year and the Equiton Award for Canadian Advisor of the Year.

Another highlight from the night was the CEO of the Year award, won by Greg Romundt of Centurion Asset Management Inc, while Fred Pye of 3iQ, was recognized as the Fund Manager Innovator of the Year.

Global X, formerly Horizons ETFs, took home the award for ETF Provider of the Year, highlighting its commitment to delivering high-quality investment solutions. This recognition underscores Global X's position as a leader in the ETF space.
